Participants will be guided to discover their own feminine energy and poetry of the soul. Inspired by the ancient Oracle of Apollo at Delphi and the divine priestesses who held sacred space there for all seekers.

For the past ten years, I've been a seeker, for what - I wasn't always sure. What I did know was an ache for something more, a desire to find that “thing”, that radical change that would help me feel whole.
As I began my own Journey to Center, I started therapy and began to learn the reasons why I do, say, and feel as I do. I practiced yoga and became a licensed instructor; I practiced meditation and learned to find the stillness needed to see into my soul; and finally I realized a life-long goal of becoming a licensed psychotherapist.
Completing this final goal, I combined my skills to use personal, professional, and academic experience to help others.
I noticed similarities in my clients:

Everyone was lonely (whether or not they were in a relationship).

People feel empty and lose themselves as they get older.

People want to feel better but don't know how.
What if the answer isn’t found in traditional methods, but that to fill the emptiness we first must find and become friends with who we are?
About the Experience
When designing this retreat, a stanza from a Mary Slater poem stood out:
Old woman, I meet you deep inside myself.
There in the rootbed of fertility,
world without end,
as the legend tells it.
Under the words you are my silence*
Who is this old woman who needs to be met deep inside oneself? If we feel empty because we are losing ourselves, is there a way to reclaim knowledge held deep within our souls?
And why travel to find yourself?
Travel removes us from daily habits, shakes us into reality and separates us from the daily dissociation that we all partake in to survive.
But this retreat is more than travel, it's a pilgrimage, of journey to the wisdom of the soul. With this retreat, we travel to ancient Greece, a country deeply saturated in history, culture, and myth - to me, there is no better place to find oneself than in the midst of their Gods and Goddesses.
