Prana Pathways

Seasonal Immersions

Prana Pathways is a seasonal practice series rooted in yoga, qigong, and Five Element wisdom. Each season offers an opportunity to reconnect, move, and explore what’s unfolding in your body and life through the lens of seasonal rhythm.

This work invites you into a deeper relationship with your physical body, your energy, and the natural cycles that influence how we feel, move, and grow throughout the year.

What We’re Exploring

Prana Pathways brings together two complementary systems:

  • the Five Koshas, the layers of consciousness described in yoga philosophy

  • the Five Elements from Taoist tradition

Together, these frameworks offer a practical and intuitive way to understand how physical, emotional, energetic, and intuitive patterns show up in daily life. Each season focuses on one Element and one Kosha, creating space for depth, integration, and curiosity within a clear seasonal container.

The Seasonal Pairings

Annamaya Kosha: Physical Body & Wood Element, Spring

Anandamaya Kosha: Bliss Body & Fire Element, Summer

Manomaya Kosha: Mental Body & Earth Element, Late Summer

Pranamaya Kosha: Energy Body & Metal Element, Fall

Vijnanamaya Kosha: Wisdom Body & Water Element, Winter

“I wanted to learn about the koshas, and the different elements and the seasons associated with them. I wanted a deeper dive of the elements so I could understand them.

What surprised me most was how much my thought processes changed.”— Dy

Who This Is For

Prana Pathways is designed for yoga practitioners and teachers who feel ready for something deeper than regular classes, but are not seeking a certification program.

Many participants come with an established personal practice and are looking for continuity, seasonal rhythm, and a way to explore yoga as a lived, integrated experience rather than a technique to master. This work is especially supportive if you are curious about how seasonal energy, movement, breath, and philosophy can inform everyday life.

Prana Pathways is open to practitioners of all levels. No prior teacher training or qigong experience is required, though a consistent personal yoga practice is helpful.

Yoga teachers may apply this work toward Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours.
