Mentorship
Mentorship for yoga teachers seeking clarity, confidence, and a sustainable teaching life rooted in lived practice.
Some teachers arrive fresh from teacher training, standing at the threshold of their teaching life and looking for steadiness as they begin to guide others. Others are already teaching regularly and feel the call to move beyond memorization and toward responsiveness, presence, and a more genuine relationship with their students. Still others are carrying greater responsibility as studio owners, lead teachers, or program holders, and are seeking guidance in how to sustain both their teaching and the structures that support it.

Mentorship at West Wind Yoga meets teachers where they are.

This work supports the unfolding of a teaching life over time - not by offering formulas or fixed answers, but by cultivating discernment, confidence, and trust in one’s own voice. Together, we explore how teaching grows through experience: how practice informs instruction, how listening shapes leadership, and how sustainability emerges from alignment rather than effort.

Mentorship may take the form of one-on-one guidance or shared learning within a small group. Some teachers choose to work privately over a period of time, while others join workshops, immersions, or continuing education gatherings that allow for reflection, practice, and thoughtful exchange. All mentorship is grounded in lived teaching experience and shaped by the needs, questions, and rhythms of those who gather.
